A couple, with a history of house moving and renovating older properties, has packed up for the last time to settle down in their new dream home in Castle Donnington.
Craig and Mark Forrest, both 29, together with their two dogs Ralph and Billy, and Oliver the cat, have moved into Miller Homes' Charters Gate
Craig, a field marketing manager, said they had been looking for a permanent home after spending 11 years moving from house-to-house.
"We have always been fans of Miller Homes, even before we got onto the property ladder. The style choices they make in their properties always seem to move with the times. Our new home felt modern and timeless to us, and that's what we needed after focusing on our own restoration projects for so long.
"When we visited the Charters Gate showhome, we were instantly inspired by the style and space in the house. We both wanted somewhere big enough to host family and friends and space to allow the dogs to run around. Luckily, we found this in the four-bedroom Hollingwood, with an open-plan kitchen, dining space and french doors leading out into the garden.
"One of the best parts about moving into the house was the amount of personal touches we were able to choose, including the tiles and cupboard finishes that made up the property. It allowed us to make it our own without even lifting a finger."
After putting their house on the market at the beginning of February, the couple only had to wait three months until they received the keys to their new home.
Craig added: "We were both so excited on moving day, and everyone at Miller Homes went above and beyond to make sure it all went as seamlessly as possible. Everything about our home is perfect and we're enjoying the extra time we have to spend together and with the dogs."
