What is Forces Help to Buy?
Forces Help to Buy provides an interest-free loan from the Ministry of Defence to assist with the costs of buying a home. This can be used towards:

You’ll still need to secure a mortgage, but the Forces Help to Buy scheme can make it easier to get started.
How much could you borrow?
Eligible applicants can borrow:
- Up to 50% of their annual salary
- Up to a maximum of £25,000

Who is eligible?
To apply, you must:
- Be a serving full-time member of the UK Armed Forces
- Have completed the required minimum length of service
- Have at least 6 months remaining on your current service
- Meet standard service and medical requirements
