Artist Jen Beuford Willis and her Danish husband Christian, a senior heating sales advisor with British Gas, are looking forward to moving into their new three bedroom, semi-detached house this summer.

When Jen walked past the development, she fell in love with the Pagham style property and telephoned her husband straight away. Within just two hours, the couple had taken a tour and secured their new home.

Jen explained: “As soon as I saw the bungalow I rushed to tell Christian. The design of the house, right down to the choice of plants, is wonderful. The new homes blend really well with the others in the area and we’re right next to the sea too.

“We didn’t realise that Christian qualified for the Help to Buy Scheme until we sat down with the Miller Homes sales adviser Jennie Chevalley, who informed us that he was eligible having never owned his own home. Jennie’s advice helped with the initial cost and she has been wonderfully helpful throughout the entire process. She has even arranged teas and coffees with our new neighbours so it feels like we’re moving into a community, not just a new home.”
