Skipton offers a delightful range of leisure options, including a heritage steam railway and a charming 100-year old cinema, The Plaza, with Pullman seats, a balcony and an organ, that presents current releases. The Mart Theatre programmes a variety of live entertainment including touring musical shows, theatre and comedy, and a local amateur dramatic society presents a series of plays throughout the year in the intimate Skipton Little Theatre.
For outdoor activities, there is an endless choice of walking and cycling opportunities, from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal walkways to the wildlife habitats at the Embsay Nature Reserve, from where the vast expanse of the Yorkshire Dales National Park stretches away to the north. The celebrated Skipton Golf Club is a little over a mile from the development. Other local sports amenities include a wide choice of indoor and outdoor activities from cricket and football to squash and table tennis at Sandylands Sports Centre, and the Craven Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre’s main and learner pools and fully equipped gym.
Water Street Community Primary School, ten minutes’ walk from Corner Fields, was rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, and there is an RC primary, St Stephen’s, just a little further away. The choice of secondary schools includes the co-educational Skipton Academy as well as single-sex grammar schools. Dyneley House Surgery, in the town centre, is a large modern health centre, and there are three dental practices in the town.
When it comes to getting the details right, we're committed to quality throughout. We only work with high-quality brands, for example Symphony for kitchens, Porcelanosa for ceramic tiles and Ideal Standard for sanitary-ware.

What our customers have to say...
"Miller Homes spoke to us like they knew us."
"Charlotte, our Sales Manager, was lovely from the word "go"."
Jack the Site Manager and Martin the Assistant Site Manager were really friendly and helpful too. During the process we were invited to look around at the pre-plaster meeting and after that we were happy to make our choices, selecting a few upgrades along with cupboards and worktops.
"The design of our home works well for us and we're in a great location."
With three bedrooms, a living room that's much bigger than what we anticipated, and two parking spaces, as first-time buyers we're happy with our new home. Based just on the edge of the town, we have everything we could need - a gym, shops, restaurants and pubs. It's very handy for work and for our family.
I’d definitely recommend Miller Homes...
... because it's a good experience and we were happy with the house we got.
