The precinct in the village centre includes a newsagent a large Co-op food store, a pharmacy and a post office as well as a cafe and a pizza take-away. Just across the road form the shops, Hadston House Youth and Community Centre houses a well-equipped youth club and a local library, and hosts services such as an internet suite and a community cafe. Next to the Community Centre there is a social club which presents live music events, and a few yards further on, the Broomhill Health Centre provides medical services. There is a glass recycling bin at the village social club, and a more comprehensive recycling centre can be found in Alnwick.
The trip into the beautiful harbour town of Amble, three miles from the development brings a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, in settings ranging from the delightfully traditional Queen Street to the small craft and seafood specialists of the Harbour Village.
When it comes to getting the details right, we're committed to quality throughout. We only work with high-quality brands, for example Symphony for kitchens, Porcelanosa for ceramic tiles and Ideal Standard for sanitary-ware.
From sleek, designer kitchens to cool, contemporary bathrooms, down to the fine details of tiles and taps, there's plenty to fire your imagination and suggest a whole range of possibilities for you to create a unique living environment.
Please note: Specification choices are dependent on build stage at the time of reservation, also the specification is in the process of being updated so please speak to our Development Sales Manager for further details.

What our customers have to say...
“We were impressed with how adaptive the site has been.”
“We had a friendly face in Julie, our sales representative.”
She was lovely, welcoming and kind, and she had all the time in the world for us. She was always making sure we were okay, she even gave us a suggestion to go see another development to see how the homes would look furnished. That made us feels a lot better in terms of the size of the house.
“We’re happy with our home.”
We love our big, double aspect living room and the choice of kitchen utilities and upgrades we were able to select. We were happy to find out that they provide a two-year warranty on the house and then ten years on top of that with the NHBC.
“It's the perfect location for us.”
There are a lot of nice other places to go like a country park, a dog-friendly beach that’s only ten minutes away and a lake that we can enjoy walking around.
“If we had a question about something, Miller Homes would try their best to achieve it.”
Miller Homes work with you. They’ll compromise so they’re meeting your needs. We were at the pre-plaster meeting and a wall had been plastered and was ready for painting. We asked if we could move the wall as we preferred the wardrobe to be in the middle bedroom. They explained what would need to happen and that they would do it, no bother. That wouldn’t have happened if the sales team wasn’t on board and happy to help. Even now that we’ve moved, Chris the Site Manager is still checking up on us to make sure we’re okay.
I’d definitely recommend Miller Homes...
...because we have had a pleasant experience with them. They’ve done all they can to help us and make it pleasant and easy for us.
