The Middlesbrough Museum of Modern Art (MIMA), occupies a striking building in Centre Square and since 2014 has been part of Teesside University. It offers an intimate collection of contemporary art.
For music and plays, Middlesbrough Theatre, also in the heart of the town, offers an enticing schedule throughout the year.
And let’s not forget Middlesbrough Football who play at the Riverside Stadium. Part of the North Easts proud football heritage, you’ll find the area is very passionate about their football teams!
Doing life in Middlesbrough
But once you’ve done all the ‘touristy’ things, seen the iconic landmarks, and found those special places for weekend peace and quiet, how do you just do everyday life at Portside Village, Middlesbrough?
