Seals Of Excellence For Andy And Andy
Miller Homes is celebrating after two of its Site Managers received Seal of Excellence awards at the 2017 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards recently.
These awards recognise top achievements from the best site managers across the regions who contribute to the growth of quality homes in the UK. Site managers are judged on several factors including consistency of high standards, leadership, technical expertise and interpretation; and both set the perfect example for the skills a Site Manager should hone. The award was a first time Seal of Excellence for Andy Eccles, and a second time award for Andy Halladay.
Andy Eccles, Site Manager for The Views in Billinge, and Andy Halladay, Site Manager for Croston Meadows in Faringdon Moss, were both recognised for their consistent attention to detail throughout the stages of each build, making sure to adhere to health and safety procedures as well as presenting outstanding workmanship.
Andy Eccles commented: “I’m over the moon to be awarded a Seal of Excellence. It’s such a prestigious accolade, not just for myself but for Miller Homes, and one that demonstrates to our customers how we work hard to build homes that can be trusted for their excellence in the quality and building standards.”
The Views has spacious green borders with a play area and far-reaching views of the countryside. It is a beautiful neighbourhood that boasts energy-efficient two, three, four and five bedroom homes. The Views blends peaceful countryside living with a convenient base for the whole of the North West.
Andy Halladay also commented on his award, saying: “It is such an honour to win the NHBC’s Seal of Excellence. As a site manager at Miller Homes, it is my duty to deliver high quality houses that customers can call home in a safe and responsible manner. To be recognised nationally for achieving this is a great honour.”
Croston Meadow is surrounded by mature trees and natural green spaces, with a combination or rural appeal and access to local amenities. The development is just a 15 minute walk from Leyland’s town centre and close to access for commuter routes on the motorways. The energy efficent three and four bedroom homes offer the perfect balance of rural and modern living.
Steve Birch, Managing Director for Miller Homes in the North West, added: “We are extremely proud of what Andy Eccles and Andy Halladay have achieved. The Pride in the Job Awards are well renowned within the industry and for our site managers to receive a Seal of Excellence is a fantastic reflection of their commitment to ensuring our homes are of the highest quality as well as for the safety and management of the sites. Recognition from the NHBC awards is a tremendous achievement for them and for Miller Homes.”
