Mark And Clarissa Settle Into Village Life At Burleigh Woods

A couple, who have finally realised their dream of home ownership after five years of renting, are now looking forward to summer weekends exploring the West Sussex countryside on their doorstep.

Mark (58) and Clarissa Walton (55) left behind their rental property in the village of Felbridge last year and moved to Miller Homes' Burleigh Woods development just a few miles away in Crawley Down. “What we love about this area is the beautiful countryside and walks on our doorstep,” says Clarissa, a global learning consultant for HSBC.

After so long renting, Mark, who is an energy consultant, and Clarissa have enjoyed bringing personal touches to their new home, as she explains:

“Because this is a new house, we did not need to do any decorating, but we have really enjoyed choosing all the finishes. We made use of Miller Homes’ incentives, which meant we could treat ourselves to some new furniture and lights.”

I decided to share it on social media because it’s nice to recognise those who do a good job within the local community. I also wanted to show people how we’d made the house our own.”
