Family Returns To Its Roots With Not One But Two House Purchases In West Yorkshire Town

A young family from West Yorkshire has had its house buying dreams realised,  not only with the help of a Home Exchange scheme from leading housebuilder Miller Homes but also because they found two properties side by side, one for them and one for their paternal grandparents.

Adrian Chiu, a househusband to his two children, and his wife Emi, business school manager at Huddersfield University, were looking for a brand new home to accommodate the latest addition to their family and were delighted to find that they qualified for the scheme.

They selected a four bedroom Buchan home that was already complete and the scheme allowed them and their children to move in within a matter of weeks and enjoy a simple, straightforward house move.

“Simplicity was the key for us as with a three year old and a new baby we just wanted to move to a lovely new home and start our life together as four,” said Adrian Chiu. “Everything was right for us, the house style, the location as I grew up in Lindley, and the Home Exchange scheme really sealed the deal meaning all we had to do was pack up, move and settle in. Furthermore, the versatility of the Buchan style of home really appealed to me and as a house husband this was particularly important.”

And, because of the ease of which the Chiu’s were able to buy and the service they received from the Miller Homes team, Adrian’s parents seized the opportunity to purchase the house next door.
