Miller Homes Encourages New Buyers to Welcome Wildlife
Leading housebuilder, Miller Homes is encouraging its new home owners to welcome wildlife into their gardens and communities after joining forces with the RSPB in a new initiative.
According to the RSPB, which is currently running a campaign called ‘Giving Nature a Home’, wildlife and natural places are under a great deal of pressure and as such are in increasing danger of being damaged or lost completely.
Chris Endsor, Chief Executive of Miller Homes, said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with the RSPB on this initiative because sustainability is something we take very seriously. For us, this means playing a full part in working to safeguard the long term future of the world around us by building responsibly and sustainably and ensuring we do all we can to preserve the physical environment, as well as creating communities that flourish in every sense.
Yorkshire – The Brookes, Drighlington
East Midlands – Weavers Court, Castle Donington
West Midlands – Sutton Goldings, Kidderminster
Southern – Admirals Wood, Sarisbury Green
This sustainable initiative coincides with the launch of Miller Homes’ new sustainability strategy, A Better Place, launched at the end of last year. The strategy sets out in detail what it aims to achieve between now and 2020. Miller Homes recognises that by committing to being sustainable and helping its customers, employees and partners to do so too; it can play a part in creating a better world.
