Final Dukesmead Buyers Already Part Of The Miller Family

Miller Homes Midlands has sold the final property at its Nottinghamshire development Dukesmead, with the buyer already having a unique connection to the award-winning housebuilder.

Technical sales rep Michael Bates and his nursery nurse wife Amy, have secured the last remaining home at the Bingham-based development, the three-bedroom Shakespeare style property. However, they have not got far to move, as Michael and Amy were actually the first buyers at Miller Homes’ neighbouring development, The Vales, seven years ago.

Since originally purchasing a Miller home in 2007, Michael and Amy have had two children – Evie, who is now six, and Henry, who is two. With a growing family, Michael and Amy realised they would soon be needing more space. As they both love living in Bingham and had a previous positive experience with the Miller team, they looked no further than Dukesmead.

“It’s quite ironic that we were the first residents to move into The Vales and now we will be the last to purchase at Dukesmead,” commented Michael. “We bought the Shakespeare off-plan and as we live just around the corner, we can see our new home being built. It’s really exciting for us all, especially Evie and Henry.

“We had such a great experience with the Miller sales team the first time round that it made perfect sense for us to come back. We already knew the quality of Miller Homes’ properties as we have lived in one for seven years and Bingham has some great schools and plenty of things to do, so we were completely confident in our choice.

“Just like our current property, the Shakespeare has a fantastic layout, with French doors that open from the lounge into the garden and a master bedroom with en-suite. Most importantly it has the extra space that the family needs as the kids get older.”

Michael, Amy, Evie and Henry are due to move into their new home in December.
