Swapping Old for New

Mick and June Jackson are the latest couple to benefit from Miller Homes’ Home Exchange scheme after successfully swapping their old home for a brand new four bedroom detached home at The Coppice development in Alsager. 

After exploring a range of homes and schemes available in the area, Mick and June were attracted to a Miller home due their reputation for high quality and sustainable building.  The couple visited The Coppice development as they felt it was in a great location and had a broad range of house styles available.

Mick comments:  “We fell in love with the development on our first visit as it has some lovely new homes and is in such a convenient location. All of the homes are well proportioned but we especially liked the Stevenson with its spacious rooms, quality fittings and the double garage which will come in handy for secure parking.” 

The couple, who moved into their new house earlier this month, are enjoying sharing it with friends and family.  June adds; “We have had a lot of visitors over the past few weeks as everyone is really excited about seeing our new home. We have had a lot of comments about how spacious the rooms are and love the way our new lounge leads straight out onto the garden which is prefect for entertaining guests and summer BBQs.”  

The couple were considering moving home but were initially wary of the potentially long and expensive selling process, however with Home Exchange the couple were able to move without having to wait until they found buyers for their existing home.

Mick and June used the scheme to sell their old house in Alsager and were able to complete the buying process for their new home in less than five months using the Home Exchange scheme. 

Mick comments: “We were unsure about moving house as it can be expensive and take a lot of time and work to find the right buyer.  Once we knew we were eligible for Home Exchange it made the moving process a lot easier and allowed us to quickly and easily move to our beautiful new home.”
