Miller Homes crowned Large Housebuilder of the Year

this year’s Scottish Home awards, including the coveted ‘Large Housebuilder of the Year’ award.
The UK’s largest privately owned housebuilder was also awarded ‘Luxury House of the Year’ at the prestigious ceremony held in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Thursday, 9 June in front of over 500 guests from the housing industry.
The Playfair at Miller Homes Graysmill Gait development in Edinburgh was voted Luxury House of the Year. Elegant and built to an exceptional standard with the modern family in mind, the Playfair is set close to the picturesque banks of the water of Leith.
These latest triumphs build on what is proving to be a successful year for Miller Homes, having already claimed top prizes at both the Housing Excellence awards and First Time Buyer magazine’s reader awards in 2011.
Keith Miller, Group Chief Executive, The Miller Group, and David Knight, Managing Director, Miller Homes Scotland, collected the awards. Miller Homes continues to offer a range of purchase incentives to assist buyers on to the property ladder nationwide. The housebuilder has introduced a range of schemes such as Deposit Match and Mifamily for new buyers and has increased their Part Exchange programme which now allows existing home owners to trade up or down the ladder depending on their circumstances
