Woodland Grange is less than five minutes’ drive from the intersection of the M8 and the M73 and just three miles from the M74. Glasgow city centre is within around 15 minutes’ drive, and the Edinburgh Bypass can be reached in under 45 minutes.

Frequent trains between Motherwell and Dalmuir call at Bargeddie Station, 600 yards away, arriving at Glasgow Central in 28 minutes, while services from Easterhouse Station, half an hour’s walk away, reach Glasgow Queen Street in under 20 minutes. Buses between Monklands General Hospital and Baillieston stop beside the development, and Citylink services between Glasgow Bus Station and Edinburgh AIrport via Coatbridge, Airdrie, Livingston and Broxburn stop a few yards away in Coatbridge Road.

In addition, National Cycle Route 75, between Edinburgh and Glasgow, passes Woodland Grange.

There is a Shop Local convenience store and off licence a few yards away, and a pharmacy and two more convenience stores, one incorporating Post Office services, within a few minutes’ walk.  Around two miles to the east, Coatbridge’s wide choice of shops and services ranges from local independent traders in pedestrianised streets to national brands in Faraday Retail Park, and there are Asda, M&S Food, Tesco and Lidl supermarkets.
