Garshake Gardens is just yards from the A82, offering fast access to Glasgow, the central belt and the western Highlands. Kingston Bridge is around 20 minutes away by car, and trains from Dumbarton Central, approximately ten minutes walk from the development, reach Glasgow Queen Street in around 25 minutes. Frequent bus services between Glasgow and Balloch stop close to the development.
Celebrated for its famous Rock and ancient castle, Dumbarton has a powerful sense of history and community, with attractions ranging from the unique Denny Ship Tank museum to a lively, popular Civic Theatre that hosts both professional touring shows and amateur productions. The town’s superb 18-hole golf course, less than a mile from Garshake Gardens, is adjacent to the BBC set where the popular River City series is filmed. Glasgow is also within reach for days and evenings out.
