Lapwing Brae's immediate local amenities include two large supermarkets, Tesco and Aldi, and a small shopping area. The nearby Fife Leisure Park contains a cinema, gym, bowling alley, other leisure facilities and restaurants providing the perfect day out for the family. Dunfermline provides an abundance of shopping including Kingsgate Shopping Centre in the town centre including a Debenhams department store and other big high street names such as M&S, Boots, New Look, H&M and a Waterstones. Dunfermline Farmers’ market which takes place every 2nd Saturday of the month in the town centre, offers local produce including meat, fruit & veg, baked goods, flowers and crafts.
Dunfermline has two well used and facilitated parks and are of not too far a distance from the development. Townhill Country Park is located to the north of Dunfermline.
