Based at Miller Homes’ Newton Le Willows office, Steve, a Divisional Development Director, was honoured by the CIOB in recognition of his 38 years service since becoming a member of the CIOB in 1973.

Throughout his career, Steve has written several papers covering technical and sustainability issues and was recently invited by the president of the CIOB to speak at their board of trustee’s dinner to share his experience as a chartered environmentalist in the UK house building industry. Chris Endsor, Operations Director, Miller Homes and a fellow of the CIOB, said: “This is a fantastic personal achievement for Steve and we would like to both congratulate him and thank him for his dedication to the industry. Steve’s work is just one example of the fantastic projects undertaken by our team within Miller Homes.”

Speaking of his achievement, Steve said: “I feel very proud to be recognised by the CIOB. They play a vital role in supporting and nurturing members of the construction industry. I’m delighted to have been made an honorary member of such an important and influential body.”
