About the role
We are looking to recruit an ERP Functional Analyst to join our fantastic team. The role can be based at either our North-East (Newcastle) or Scotland East (Edinburgh) offices. The ERP Functional Analyst will work within the Group IT division to provide services and support to our regional businesses across the UK. The role primarily involves working on JD Edwards projects within the Analytics & Business Applications (ABA) team within to deliver quality systems and solutions to our internal customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with various departmental functions within the Company to improve all aspects of Sales, Commercial and/ or Finance related systems and solutions in line with changing business requirements.
- Ensuring that day to day maintenance and support of JD Edwards is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
- To provide second line Service Desk user support for JD Edwards and associated reporting systems.
- Defining and preparing detailed specifications to facilitate software development, configuration, documentation and testing of software modifications to agreed standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience of finance ERP / Platform. JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Financials etc
- Excellent analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills and effective Team worker.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
