We are looking to recruit a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Customer Services Data Analyst to join the Customer Services team based in our Glasgow Office working on a hybrid basis and reporting to the Divisional Customer Services Director (Scotland and North-East)

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management and development of Customer Services reporting including liaising with relevant subject matter experts for key systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance & development of the current reporting suite used within the Customer Services department.
  • Assist in the life cycle process for all Customer Services/quality reporting tools within Miller Homes including development and support.
  • Assist with projects to improve processes and support key functions within the business.
  • Assist in business analysis, opportunity identification & requirements gathering for the Business Applications.
  • Develop and maintain a documentation structure for the current reporting processes.
  • Work closely with the Divisional Customer Services Director and system leads.
  • Assess complex issues involving our information systems to produce innovative solutions.
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders from Customer Services, I.T. and other departments around the business.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualification

  • Degree qualification in Maths, Computer Science, or similar numerate discipline or as a minimum must be qualified by relevant experience.
  • Experience with using and / or developing business intelligence dashboards/reports.
  • Experience in data analysis, process mapping with the ability to produce business proposals.
  • Experience of collating data from multiple disparate sources into a consolidated data model.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft office in particular Excel including knowledge of advanced calculation functions and macros.
  • Knowledge of SQL may be advantageous (moderate-advanced user is desirable).
