The Bath House lies well-preserved 150 metres from the town centre.

There are two gyms located near St Andrews Brae, the Allander Leisure Centre, Bearsden and LA Fitness, Milngavie. There are nearby train stations at Bearsden and Hillfoot, Bearsden is on Milngavie Line from Glasgow Queen Street station (low level platform) with a regular service. Bearsden and the surrounding area offers a stimulating variety of bars, cafés and restaurants, ranging from traditional pubs to international cuisine, and there are cinemas in Glasgow, Clydebank, Xscape at Braehead. There are excellent Theatres, in the City Centre presenting a wide spectrum of live entertainment, from touring rock and pop shows to professional and amateur drama in the Theatre.


There is a good selection of both non-denominational and Roman Catholic schools within walking distance of the St Andrews Brae development.


There is an abundance of good quality shops located at The Cross in Bearsden. This has been the central shopping area for over 100 years. Bearsden Cross is situated approximately 6 miles north of Glasgow city centre. There are a couple of free car parks adjacent to the shops. There is an excellent choice of convenience stores, off-licences, supermarkets and other retailers to meet all everyday needs within easy reach of the St Andrews Brae development. St Andrews Brae is an attractive, different and modern looking development 

We like the layout of our modern, four bedroom home

The high ceilings in our home make it feel very spacious along with the large kitchen and dining room. These rooms, as well as 2 of the 4 bedrooms, are south facing so they get the sun all day. In the morning it’s lovely to be able to sit in the sun that comes through the patio doors leading to the back garden. The external design of the houses on the development match the design of the high school academy. It’s made of brick and white render which gives it a bright, modern look that is quite striking when you drive by. 

This is a very safe and friendly area to bring up a family

St Andrews Brae is on two tiers and being on the upper tier we have excellent views across the hills and the rest of Glasgow. We live in a nice, affluent area with the high school academy only a 5 minute walk away. It’s a fantastic school with one of the top academic records in Scotland. We moved to this area because we wanted a better choice of schools for our young daughter and a nicer place to raise our family. 

We have friends who live here and they’ve always spoken very highly of Bearsden

When we saw the house we knew we were going to struggle looking at any others as we really liked it. We hadn’t even realised that owning one of these properties was a possibility. We’re not far from the town centre and there are lots of clubs to go to such as the ski club. There’s a dry ski slope close by as well as parks, swings and green areas. 

Miller Homes has a good reputation and the customer service is excellent

Our last home was a new build so we were quite realistic when it came to snagging. They’ve been very responsive and it’s obvious that the guys on site are well trained. They’re very courteous and will move out of the way if we need to drive past. They’ve always been friendly and helpful including doing jobs that they don’t need to do. For example, when we got our carpets fitted they came and shaved the doors so that they would fit properly. We felt cared for when we were buying our home, we had lots of attention and they were happy to show us around the home again if we wanted. 

I would definitely recommend Miller Homes because...

...our house is really good value. There are second hand properties that need a lot of work and have less bedrooms that cost more than our home. I can really see the difference between them and the company we bought from previously in regards to the build quality and the after care. I would recommend them for the customer service, the really nice design of the house and the quality of the build. We get a lot of good comments from people about our new home.
