What is Assisted Move?

The Assisted Move Scheme* is designed to make your house moving experience as effortless as possible by assisting with the sale of your existing home. As part of this scheme, we shoulder a significant portion of the burdens and costs traditionally associated with selling a property.

These include conducting a free ‘open market’ valuation on your current property, providing expert assistance to get your home sold quickly and efficiently, and covering advertising costs and estate agents fees. The Assisted Move scheme aims to help you transition seamlessly into your new Miller home by facilitating the sale of your old property in a cost-effective and hassle-free manner.

 

How Does Assisted Move Work?

We have designed the Assisted Move Scheme* to be a straightforward, five-step process that propels you towards your dream home.

  1. Choose Your Dream Miller Home

Explore our range of beautifully designed properties and select the one that perfectly aligns with your vision of a dream home.

  1. Property Valuation

After you've chosen your new home, we appoint a trusted estate agent to conduct a free and thorough valuation of your old property.

  1. Agree on a Price and Plan

Based on the valuation, we then agree on a selling price for your old property. Our team of experts will work closely with you to devise a customised marketing plan that outlines how we'll get your old home sold and you moving into your new home as swiftly as possible. We will work with the estate agent for an efficient sale of your old home.

  1. Sell and Settle

Once your old property is sold, we handle the remaining details. To ensure a completely stress-free transition for you, we cover all of your estate agent fees and advertising costs.

  1. Reserve Your New Miller Home

The final step is the most exciting one, reserving your brand new Miller Home. Once the sale is complete, your stunning new home is officially yours to move into!

 

*Fees will be paid up to 1.5% of the Assisted Move house value. Home Report and Estate Agent's fees paid for following instruction made by or on behalf of Miller Homes. No reimbursement will be made for marketing fees or Home Report instructed prior to commencement of Assisted Move scheme. Home Reports only applicable in Scotland.

No, there are no hidden fees. At Miller Homes, we pride ourselves on transparency. We cover the initial ‘open market’ valuation, advertising costs and estate agent fees associated with selling your old property. Any costs will be discussed upfront and agreed upon before the sale process begins.

Can I use the Assisted Move scheme even if I've already put my property on the market?

Yes, you can still benefit from the Assisted Move Scheme* if your property is already on the market. We can work in conjunction with your existing estate agent to help sell your property.

How quickly can I expect my current home to sell with the Assisted Move scheme?

While we can't guarantee a specific time frame due to the nature of the property market, our team of experts are committed to making the process as quick and efficient as possible. We work with trusted estate agents to provide effective marketing and to get your home sold as swiftly as the market allows.

What properties are eligible for the Assisted Move scheme?

All properties are considered for the Assisted Move Scheme*. Each property will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure a fair and accurate ‘open market’ valuation.

What happens if my house doesn't sell before my new Miller home is ready?

Our team will work with you to find the best solution. Depending on circumstances, we may be able to offer a part-exchange scheme or other options. The aim is always to ensure a smooth transition for you into your new home with us.

Do I need to use a specific estate agent for the Assisted Move scheme?

Miller Homes will appoint a trusted estate agent to ensure a smooth process and provide a professional valuation of your property.

Is the Assisted Move scheme available for all Miller Homes developments?
