From the M6 travelling northwards
Leave the M6 at junction 27 and take the third exit at the roundabout to enter Crow Orchard Road (A5209). Turn left at the T-junction and stay on the A5209 for around a mile-and- a-quarter, then at traffic-lights turn left into Preston Road (A49). Around two-and-a-quarter miles on, at a mini-roundabout, take the second exit to enter Spendmore Lane. Carry on for just over a mile-and-a-half, passing through Coppull, then turn sharp right into Birkacre Road. At the T-junction, turn right into Burgh Hall Road for around three-quarters of a mile, then at the Lower Burgh Way roundabout, take the third exit to enter Lower Burgh Way and carry straight on to Birkacre Park.

From the M6 travelling southwards
Leave the M6 at junction 30 to join the M61, following signs for Manchester, and stay on the M61 for four-and-three- quarter miles, then exit at junction 8, taking the third exit at the roundabout to join the A6 following signs for Chorley. At the Preston Road roundabout, take the second exit to join Preston Road, and follow the A6 for just over a mile-and- a-quarter, passing through seven roundabouts, and at the Lyons Land roundabout, take the third exit to enter George Street (B5251). Stay on the B5251 for just under a mile-and- a-half, passing along Pall Mall and Moor Road, and at the roundabout, take the first exit to join Lower Burgh Way. At the next roundabout, take the third exit to stay on Lower Burgh Way, and at the Lower Burgh Way roundabout, take the second exit to carry straight on to Birkacre Park.
