The M6 gives easy access from Millers Green to Manchester, Preston and Liverpool, and there is a train station at Heysham Port, around a mile from the development, with services to Lancaster and the national network. Ferry services operate from the port to Ireland and the Isle of Man, and Blackpool International Airport is around 20 miles away.

From the M6 
Leave the M6 at junction 34 to join the A683, following signs for Lancaster. After around two miles, follow the one-way system through Caton Road and Bulk Road, and cross the river at Greyhound Bridge Road. At the next junction, bear left into Morecambe Road (A589), then, at the first roundabout, take the third exit to stay on Morecambe Road. Take the first exit at the next roundabout to enter the A683, following signs for Heysham. At the next two roundabouts, take the second exit to stay on the A683, and leave the third roundabout by the second exit to enter Middleton Way. Take the third right turn into Brooklands Drive, and the entrance to the development is the second turning on the left.

Ideally situated, convenient and well thought out, our home on Millers Green is perfect for our retirement.

We’ve always loved living on the coast; although we knew the Lake District could be very isolated, Miller Homes has thought of everything here.
It was important to us to stay well connected and have access to the things we needed and Millers Green is perfect for that convenience. We have access to all of the major routes, with links to the motorway and links to Lancaster city centre by bus. Everything is within easy reach of the estate. It’s nice to be able to simply walk to the parade of shops nearby and it’s practical having a doctors surgery and bus stop five minutes away. Even families benefit from the excellent schools in the area.

We were looking to downsize to a more manageable house and we were particularly attracted to the design and flow of our new home.
Coming from a barn conversion we were used to a lot of open space, but when we walked into the hall and saw the open lounge diner with separate kitchen we felt that the closed off design and layout was rather cosy. Our three bedroom house has great flexibility in its design so we have a lot of scope to use it in many ways to suit our new lifestyle.

The impeccable service made our move a very easy process.
We were able to do a home exchange and, having dealt in the past with Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey, I found Miller Homes the best to speak with. In fact, they are one of the easiest companies to deal with. Everyone always rang us straight back and bent over backwards for us.  They have been very pleasant and helpful, and this was true whether we dealt with Kay and Nicola in the North West office or Denise on site. They have always been at the end of the phone if I needed them and they have always done their best to make it a more enjoyable experience.  

There isn’t one member of staff who hasn’t done their job properly; I couldn’t fault any of them.
We were pleased to have a very small snagging list and everyone was very quick when dealing with that, or anything else that needed to be rectified. Wayne and the men on site who came to do the repairs have always been very prompt. Having a personal service has made a lot of difference; we’ve been very impressed.

I would definitely recommend Miller Homes because...
...they are nicely built houses; they're built with bricks and not timber frames. Everyone's communication skills are very good and having someone who responds and uses email makes a lot of difference. The communication is very positive. We’re so happy to be in and that it’s all gone so smoothly.
