Gloucester has a traditional market town ambience, with picturesque pedestrianised streets and covered shopping centres, and there is a market selling local produce in the city centre.

Transport
Pedestrian walkways, cycle paths and efficient public transport is an integral part of the Kingsway vision. There is a bus service connecting the Village with Stroud and Gloucester, and a good Park and Ride service is in operation. Millers Gate is approximately a mile from junction 12 of the M5, giving exceptional access to the motorway network, and the new Gloucester South West Bypass will provide even faster transit into the city centre. Gloucester train station, around four miles away, offers regular services to Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff. Bristol Airport is less than 40 miles from Kingsway.

Outdoor amenities
Manor Farm is a fascinating Grade 2 listed building with a partially-filled moat and wonderful grounds, in which painstakingly restored features like the traditional orchard will bring a really special centrepiece to the Urban Village. There is also a local nature reserve nearby in Quedgeley, and the 250-acre Robinswood Hill on the southern edge of Gloucester offers magnificent views, fascinating nature and geology trails, and a rare breeds farm.

From the M5
From junction 12 of the M5 follow signs for Gloucester (A38). At the first roundabout (cross keys) take the third exit signposted A38 Gloucester. Follow the dual carriageway for approximately 0.7 miles to another roundabout and go straight over. After 0.5 miles turn right at the traffic lights signposted Kingsway. Turn left at the roundabout then at the next roundabout take the third exit. You will find Millers Gate at the bottom of this road.
