A Yorkshire couple are the proud owners of their second Miller home after tracking down not only a new development, but also the same style of home they had previously owned!
Lorraine Appleyard, who works part time, and husband David, a retired civil servant, had lived at the housebuilder’s Plover Mills development in Huddersfield a few years ago. They sought out the housebuilder’s current development at Lindley Park and found, to their delight, that the same house type was available in their preferred location.
“We had loved the unusual design of our ‘Kipling’ housetype at Plover Mills and, having moved to an older home from there decided that we really wanted to own a new home again and a Kipling, if that was at all possible,” said Lorraine.
Knowing the housebuilder was still building homes in the area they wanted to live, the Appleyards got in touch with Miller Homes to enquire as to the available homes. “Our enquires led us to a Kipling house style at Lindley Park which is a lovely development in a lovely location – we couldn’t believe our luck!.”
The Appleyard’s chose to utilise the housebuilder’s Part Exchange scheme which made the entire process seamless and stress free and they moved into their new home within a matter of weeks.
“Moving into our second Miller home was a true delight and Jayne, Shaun and Grant (Miller Homes employees) supported us every step of the way, guiding us through the part exchange process and keeping us up to date with how our new home was progressing,” said Lorraine. “Everything is just as we would have expected once again, superb build quality, attention to detail and a lovely community which we are delighted to call our home.”
