We are offering an exciting opportunity for 3 Graduate Trainees/Trainees to join our team and support the implementation of our Safety, Health & Environmental (SH&E) Management System within our growing Regional Home building businesses. We are looking to recruit in the following areas - 

Scotland Division - Based Edinburgh,

North Division - Based Newton le Willows,

Midlands & South Division - Based Derby

As you develop in your role, you will help to promote a culture where safety, health and environmental considerations are integrated into every day processes. Reporting to the Divisional SH&E Manager, you will be actively engaged with all levels of management, and at all stages of the construction process, from land acquisition, through construction, to sales and aftercare.

Your regular routine will support the Divisional SHE Manager in the monitoring of workplaces and the investigation of incidents, with a 'management' approach to problem solving, as well as to improve the SH&E management skills of our workforce.

Previous experience within a SH&E role, or knowledge of engineering, construction or house building industry would be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills, an inquisitive mind, computer literacy and an enthusiastic and energetic nature are essential.

Successful candidates will hold, or will be progressing a qualification in an Engineering, Construction or Safety, Health and Environment related discipline.

An individual development programme to support the attainment of MIOSH accreditation will be provided.
