We are looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Graduate to sit within the Group Procurement and Supply Chain function based in our Derby office.

 

Your overall role will be to support the implementation of group agreements and responsibilities will include management of supply agreement reviews, analysis and comparison of tender submissions, negotiation of agreement terms, and writing recommendations. You will gain exposure to different parts of the business and have direct contact with senior members of the company, all while building an understanding of the construction process.  Part of the role will require you to visit our development sites and you will also be required to conduct supplier visits, so some travel is integral to the role.

 

The successful candidate will have achieved or predicted to achieve a minimum of 2:1 degree classification and be proficient in the use of MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.  Further desirable attributes will include strong numerical, analytical and/or negotiation skills with the ability to think outside the box.  Past work experience is preferred but is not essential and you should be available to travel within England and Scotland on an ad hoc basis and hold a current driving licence.
