Our Scotland business operating from offices at Edinburgh Park, Edinburgh and Baillieston, Glasgow are looking to recruit both Commercial and Technical Trainees.  This reflects the business’ steady growth and we are focusing on sustainable recruitment and development of our own talent. 

  1. Commercial Trainee (1 position – Glasgow)

    Working within the Commercial team you can expect to spend time working with our team of surveyors and buyers, assisting them with the procurement of materials and subcontract trades, re-measurement exercises and commercial administration.


  2. Technical Trainee (2 positions, 1 – Edinburgh and 1 Glasgow)

Working within the Technical team you will gain experience initially across both the architectural and engineering aspects of the business before deciding on the preferred career path as either an Architectural Technologist or Civil Engineer.

In both roles, you will work to a clear training plan, and carry out general administrative tasks designed to help you transition into a working office environment.

We are therefore looking to recruit candidates straight from school, preferably with Higher English and, or Mathematics, but must as a minimum have achieved English and Mathematics at Nat 5 level. 

We will be looking at a start date in July and will be supporting each candidate through an appropriate further education programme combined with best in class on the job training.

What we are looking for in applicants?

An individual with a genuine passion to work within the construction sector, who is computer literate, a good communicator and with the capacity and motivation to learn and further enhance their education.  It is anticipated that each successful applicant will be progressed to degree level.
