We are looking to recruit an Area Technical Director to join our Technical team based in our Derby/Worcester office reporting to the Area Managing Director.  

You will oversee, develop and effectively manage the performance of the Technical Department. In addition, you will contribute to the development of the Company’s house-type portfolio and will advise on planning and technical matters at a strategic area and/or regional level. Also as part of the Area management team and by being an integral part of the land acquisition due diligence process, you will ensure that the provision of technical and planning advice makes an effective contribution to the evaluation and acquisition of new land and development opportunities.

You should possess a professional qualification, relevant degree, MCIOB, MRTPI, MICE, RIBA; or be qualified by suitable experience. You should also have a good understanding of existing/emerging technical guidance/legislation and to articulate/inform the wider business of the consequences and/or benefits. Experience in the Housebuilding industry is advantageous.
