We are looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join our Accounts team based in our Yorkshire office reporting to the Divisional Finance Manager.
As an Accounts Clerk you will be responsible for maintaining the Accounts Payable Ledger. Your duties will include accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintenance of utility accounts, and other ad-hoc finance duties as required. You will liaise with Site Managers and suppliers to resolve payment queries in an efficient and professional manner.
The successful candidate will possess experience in accounts or general book-keeping and will have working knowledge of financial accounting systems (JD Edwards experience is desirable). You will be numerate, demonstrate excellent organisation skills and attention to detail with the ability to minimise errors. You should be able to focus and prioritise your workload in a busy office environment and will be able to communicate with suppliers and Miller Homes staff over the telephone.
