With Easter just around the corner, we’re sure you’ll be looking for ways to keep the children entertained and add some of your family’s personality to your home. We’ve come up with a few activities for around your home these Easter holidays.
Easter egg rolling and hunt
This is a great way to get the family outside, whilst enjoying your garden. It might also give you the opportunity to get to know your neighbours better.
To prepare for the hunt, ensure there are some flowers and plants in your garden and perhaps also some planters to help hide the clues and eggs. Go for a variety of egg from mini eggs to larger eggs, foil wrapped eggs will be easier for your children to find. You could also get your child to decorate a couple of hard boiled eggs. If you are leaving written clues for your children you might need craft materials and a pen and paper.
Now all of the preparation is complete, let the hunt begin, give your child a bowl, basket or pot for them to collect their eggs in.
Once all the eggs have been hunted, it’s time to get rolling!
