Fall in love with Miller Homes - this Valentines Weekend!

Well love is certainly in the air at the moment - and it’s no exception here at Miller Homes.

Right across the country our team has been getting into the spirit of all things romantic - from giving away a weekend break in the North West to advertising in the “lonely hearts” pages of papers in the Midlands.

But we have one story that has really melted our hearts – that of Maxine and John Babington.

Little did Maxine and John know when they got engaged in the Four Seasons Hotel in Lincolnshire on Valentine’s Day 23 years ago - that they would one day buy a new home on the very site of their romantic proposal.

Back in the 80s when John popped the question The Four Seasons hotel was a haunt for many celebrities – all taking a break from playing to packed audiences at Skegness. But when it was demolished in 1990 (after remaining derelict for a number of years) we built an exclusive development of 26 three four and five-bedroomed homes on the site - naming it Falcon Heath.

The rest as they say is history: Maxine and John quickly decided that the fond memories they had of the spot made it the perfect location for their dream home - and we couldn’t be happier for them!

So Happy Valentine’s Day – from everyone at Britain’s most loved housebuilder (well with 98% of customers now saying they would recommend us to a friend – we must be surely!?)
