part exchange
Sometimes, the excitement of buying a new home is overshadowed by worry about having to sell your present  one. At Miller Homes, we understand how stressful this can be. Our part exchange scheme is designed to take the doubt out of moving, leaving you to enjoy the positive things.

The benefits to you:
  • A guaranteed buyer for your present home.
  • A cash sale with no chain, no hitches and no uncertainties.
  • No need for a bridging loan.
  • A professional transaction, with all the support and advice you need.
  • No need to prepare a Home Information Pack (HIP)
  • No advertising costs or estate agent’s fees.
  • An early decision, giving you time to plan with confidence.
  • No pressure to move before your new home is ready.

A guide to our Part Exchange process:

Step 1. Choose your new home
Exploring our new developments through the www.millerhomes.co.uk website is easy. Or you can take a leisurely walk around one of our show homes. At this stage, your sales adviser will be able to tell you whether the plot you are interested in is included in the part exchange scheme.

Step 2. Check that your present home qualifies
Once you’ve found what you’re looking for, ask your sales adviser about the part-exchange conditions. If your present home fulfils the criteria, we will arrange for at least two independent valuations from estate agents. We may also ask a Sales Manager to visit you at home.

Step 3. Consider our offer
After we have assessed all the information, we may make you an offer for your house. This will be subject to the usual surveys and searches. In most cases, your new home will be held for you for 24 hours while you make your decision.

Step 4. After you accept
If you accept our offer, you can now firmly reserve your new Miller home in complete confidence that your present home is sold (subject to survey). We will then take responsibility for selling your house on the open market.

Step 5. We'll help at every stage
From this point on, your sales adviser will guide you step-by-step through the process of buying your new home. We would, of course, expect you to allow ‘For Sale’ boards to be erected at your existing property andhouse viewings to take place.

Step 6. You can relax
And you stay secure in your present home until your new one is ready. You can enjoy planning for your new home in comfort.
