Our Background

Miller Homes is the largest privately-owned housebuilder in operation in the UK today and part of the UK’s largest privately-owned, property development and construction business – The Miller Group.

Since 1934 we have built nearly 100,000 homes in the UK and now have eight operating regions – Scotland East, Scotland West, North East, North West, Yorkshire, East Midlands, West Midlands and Southern.

We continue to go from strength to strength. In fact, for the last two years running, readers of First Time Buyer Magazine have voted us Private Housebuilder of the Year. We’re very proud of that because it's our customers who place those all important votes.  

We are also even prouder of our customer satisfaction scores. Four times a year, independent researchers ask our customers if they would recommend us to a friend and the overwhelming answer is yes.  Why? We are known for delivering a quality product – and for being honest, open and transparent. Not only do we carry out quarterly customer reviews, and publish the scores on our website, but we also embrace social media, understanding the benefits it offers to our customers and to us as a business.

Our Achievements

For a company known for innovation, our step into the world of social media was an obvious step for us.

Throughout our long history, we have been acclaimed for breaking industry barriers and setting new standards. In 2004, we became the first housebuilder to allow buyers to track the build progress of their new home online through our website mymillerhome and in 2007, we created our own social network for residents on each of our developments – mymillerstreet.

And we haven’t stopped innovating since. In 2009, we were the first housebuilder to advertise equity loan products such as HomeBuy Direct and our own MiWay Scheme on television, we also built –and sold – a zero carbon home.

In 2010, we launched the first home exchange scheme which allows people to “part exchange” whether they are trading up, down or sideways on the property ladder and in 2011, we launched our very own online TV channel 'Miller Homes TV'.
 
Our Goal

Quite simply, our goal is to keep on innovating - to beat Government targets in carbon reduction, to keep on improving our customer service until 100% of our buyers tell us they would recommend us to a friend and to over deliver against our promises to our public and private sector partners.
