The UK's largest privately owned house builder, Miller Homes, is celebrating success as the National House Building Council (NHBC) announces the results of its 'Pride in the Job Quality Awards', which reward the very best site managers in the UK.

Miller Homes celebrated an impressive 19 winners in total, hand-picked as the creme de la creme in the business from over 18,000 sites across the UK.

Of the 19 winners of the quality awards, 6 have gone on to be awarded Seals of Excellence and 2 site managers have also become overall Regional winners in the competition.

Winners from sites across Miller Homes' nine regions, included managers from the North West, Scotland, Yorkshire, the West Midlands and the South.

Sue Warwick, national sales and marketing director, said: "This is fantastic news for us. These awards are synonymous in the industry with build quality on developments, so we are extremely proud of all of our site managers that have received this prestigious accolade.

"We hope that our success in this year’s role of honour will send out a clear message to customers that buying a Miller home guarantees them a quality home. Potential home buyers should be heartened by awards such as these."

The 'Pride in the Job' awards have been running for nearly 30 years and aim to raise quality standards of new homes by introducing competition between site managers and house builders.

Sue continues: "The quality of our homes is reflected in our staff, whom we are very proud of, so well done everyone!

"The success has also added to our optimism about the new homes sector which we’ve been spreading recently with our new TV ad campaign. I believe we really do have much to be positive about."
