Miller Homes, the UK's largest privately owned house builder, is celebrating three awards in three days, endorsing its forward thinking customer care and IT initiatives.
Miller won two accolades at the Building Homes' Quality Awards 2003, the first for the Best Customer Satisfaction Improvement Strategy where they came top in the private sector; and the second award for the Best IT Initiative, in recognition of their excellent website. They were also runner up in the Private Sector Housebuilder of the year category.
Edinburgh-based Miller has also won the highly acclaimed Scottish e-Business Awards, 'Winners at the Web' for Best Large Business.
Philip Hogg, marketing director said:
"Customer satisfaction is at the very heart of what Miller is about. Everything we do is with the customer in mind and we've worked extremely hard, not just to implement a friendly and efficient system but to continually improve on that system.
"It is fundamental to this, as it allows our customers to interact with us, enabling them to receive hot off the press information about new developments. So these three awards are all linked by the same goal- to make life easier for our customers and the house-buying process as stress-free as possible!"
Miller Homes has its own in-house software system which logs sales data and passes this through to the website (www.millerhomes.co.uk) to ensure sales details are kept completely up to date. Its new online registration and profiling system enables prospective customers, to receive information about homes meeting their specific needs via e-mail or text message (SMS), an innovative service introduced since the award win.
Philip Hogg concludes:
"These processes are hard-working but seamless where the customer is concerned. We are proud of them and delighted they have been acknowledged by other professionals in the industry."
