Miller Homes To Build 750 New Homes In Lichfield

Streethay

Miller Homes Midlands has unveiled plans to build 750 new homes and other amenities in the heart of Lichfield.

The largest development in Miller Homes Midlands extensive portfolio, house hunters will be able to choose from a selection of 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedroomed energy-efficient houses in this new neighbourhood in the village of Streethay.

Set across 135 acres, the development is due to officially launch in October 2016.

Miller Homes will also be building a mixed-use community hub on site, with further details yet to be announced.

Streethay is located just one mile from Lichfield city centre and is also in easy commuting distance to Birmingham, Burton-upon-Trent and Tamworth.

Alastair Parsons, sales director for Miller Homes Midlands said:

“We are delighted to announce plans to build a new carehome and community hub to support all the new families moving into the area. It’s always really rewarding to give something back to the local community and we take great pleasure knowing the buildings will be enjoyed for generations to come.

“Streethay will be our largest development in the Midlands and this presents a great opportunity for buyers to secure their dream property in a desirable, rural location.

“Located close to Lichfield, which is notable for its three-spired medieval cathedral, buyers will also be buying in a stunning location. We expect interest levels to be extremely high and we can’t wait to get started.”

Miller Homes has enjoyed a successful start to 2016, selling out four developments and launching a further four new sites.

Work is also due to start in May at Millers Croft, in Great Haywood, Staffordshire. Buyers will have a choice of 76, three, four and five bedroom homes.

Miller Homes has also just been awarded five stars, the highest level attainable, in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) National New Home Customer Satisfaction Survey for the fifth consecutive year.
