Set in the delightful village of Huntington, on the southern edge of Cannock Chase with open fields and countryside stretching away to the west, Littleton Green is a wonderful place to put down roots. Outdoor pursuits
Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and lively market towns, Huntington is an ideal base for exploring the local countryside and enjoying outdoor pursuits. Cannock Chase, once a royal hunting preserve, is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Rich in bird and animal life, including a herd of fallow deer, the Chase can be explored by a wide diversity of paths, including part of the long-distance Heart of England Way. It also contains a fascinating assortment of visitor centres and museums.

Sport and leisure
Littleton Green is virtually flanked by golf clubs, with The Chase Golf Club to the north and the municipal Cannock Park Golf Course to the south. The Chase Leisure Centre, less than a mile from Littleton Green, provides a comprehensive range of facilities including a 33m pool, a separate baby-friendly teaching pool and a fitness room, with a wide selection of organised clubs and classes. There are some excellent mountain biking routes in Cannock Chase Forest, and the nearby Chasewater Country Park offers facilities for water skiing, sailing and angling, as well as a fascinating heritage steam railway.

For a complete change of pace from the gentle giants of the steam locomotives, Hednesford has a popular stock car racing circuit around two and a half miles to the east of the development.

Shopping
There is a choice of convenience stores in Stafford Road, just a short walk from the development, and a wider choice of local shopping, including chemists, butchers, bakers, off licences and supermarkets a few minutes away in Cannock. The short trip into Stafford brings a wide range of high street names into reach.

Schools
There is a good primary school in Huntington, a short walk from Littleton Green, and further selection of primary as well as junior and secondary schools within easy reach.

Transport
Littleton Green is convenient for the M6 and M6 Toll, making it a convenient base for commuting into Wolverhampton and Birmingham. The railway stations at Hednesford and Cannock, both operating services into Birmingham New Street and Stafford, are each around one and a half miles from the development.
