Transport
With junction 21 of the M1 – which is also junction 3 of the M69 – less than a mile-and-a-half away, Augustus Park is an exceptionally convenient commuting base for the Midlands. There are regular bus services between Enderby village and Leicester, and local train stations at Narborough and South Wigston offer services into Leicester and Nuneaton.

Enderby has a lively choice of local activities and organisations, ranging from the Heritage Group and the celebrated brass band, one of the largest in the UK, to the Harriers running club and the Manga Group that meets in the local library, and there is a also a good choice of bars and restaurants in the village. Education
Enderby Danemill Primary School has a dual site, with a junior school in Mill Lane, approximately three-quarters of a mile from Augustus Park, and a nursery school just a little further away in Townsend Road. The local high school and community education centre, Brockington College, is also situated in Mill Lane, and will shortly be moving into newly-built premises on the same site. Brockington College acts as a feeder school for the Lutterworth Grammar School, which has an excellent academic record and specialises in drama and sports. A free bus service takes students to the Lutterworth site.

Shopping
Augustus Park has two completely contrasting shopping areas within easy reach. The old narrow streets of Enderby village offer a delightful traditional shopping environment, with retailers to cover most everyday needs. And one of the UK’s biggest retail parks, the Fosse Shopping Park, is located just 15 minutes’ walk to the north of the development. With the widest selection of high-street names in the Midlands, Fosse Park also offers a choice of restaurants and cafés.
