The Keep
Amidst pleasant open countryside on the edge of Horndean village, this small, attractive development provides a relaxing retreat and, with its own tree-lined play area, is a wonderful place to raise a family. Just minutes from the A3(M) and with fast access to the M27 and A27, it is also an excellent commuter base.

Leisure
The Keep is surrounded by a rich assortment of options for days out, including the Sir George Staunton Country Park, 1,000 acres of parkland with a lake, a maze, impressive glasshouses, an ornamental farm and a dinosaur trail, providing endless appeal for visitors of all ages. The Park also presents themed events and activities throughout the year. The Staunton Way, with an access point just over a mile to the north of The Keep, is a fascinating trail through peaceful villages, diverse wildlife and plant habitats, and some of the least inhabited tracts of the county. There is an excellent leisure centre around three miles away at Waterlooville, with a 25m swimming-pool, splash pool, gymnasium, sauna and steam rooms. Havant Arts Centre presents a lively programme of cinema and live shows, and the short trip into Portsmouth brings a wide choice of nightlife and entertainment, including the exciting Gunwharf Quays destination with its 14-screen Vue Cinema and 26-lane Bowlplex.

Shopping
There is a small range of shops in Horndean, including a convenience store, a newsagent, a bakery, and a Morrisons supermarket. There is also a Tesco supermarket in Waterlooville and a wide selection of high- street names in Portsmouth, many housed in the exciting Gunwharf Quays where they are complemented by superb bars, restaurants and cafés.

Transport
The Keep is just minutes from the A3(M), and there is a local rail station at Rowlands Castle, around two miles from The Keep, with services to Portsmouth, Guildford and London Waterloo. Southampton Airport is just 16 miles away.
