Location Heritage View, off the A53 Leek Road to the south west of the spa town of Buxton, is an excellent opportunity to purchase a brand new home in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

For those who prefer the bright lights then both Manchester and Sheffield have all the venues and attractions you associate with large cosmopolitan cities. Because of its rural location, outdoor sports are extremely popular. These include walking, cycling and pony-trekking. The more adventurous might like to try hang-gliding or caving. If you prefer to spectate you could visit the Hi-Edge Stock Car Raceway. Buxton has many fascinating places of interest.
Shopping Buxton offers a wide range of shops. Spring Gardens Shopping Centre has a mix of High Street names and local specialist shops. Browse around Cavendish Arcade the setting for a mix of craft, antique and book shops. Markets are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays at the Market Place, Higher Buxton. A monthly Farmer’s Market at the Pavilion Gardens attracts both locals and tourists alike. For your food shopping Somerfield on Spring Gardens and UN Co-operative Stores, Scarsdale Place, offer a wide range of produce.
Transport Travelling around the region is relatively easy. There is a good network of A Roads, the A6 links Buxton to Stockport, Greater Manchester and Sheffield as well as to the many towns and villages scattered throughout the Peak District National Park. Buxton railway station is about one and a half miles along the A53 from Heritage View. Manchester International Airport is approximately 16 miles away.
