Spinners Gate
In the lively neighbourhood of Sherwood, close to Nottingham's vibrant and cosmopolitan city centre, Spinners Gate offers an opportunity to put down roots in a peaceful, modern development. With the city's enormous range of cultural attractions to the south and some outstandingly beautiful countryside to the north, Spinners Gate offers the best of all worlds.

Location
With its renowned galleries, museums and theatres, Nottingham is an endlessly fascinating place to live.

Leisure
Nottingham offers a marvellous, diverse range of culture and entertainment. From the Royal Centre in Theatre Square, a venue for world-class ballet, music, drama and comedy, to the National Water-Sports Centre, with its regatta lake and white water course set in 270 acres of country parkland. With the celebrated Nottingham Playhouse, which regularly presents theatrical world premieres, and the excellent sports facilities at the National Ice Centre and Arena, the city has some of the finest arts and leisure provision in England. There is a wealth of galleries, museums and heritage sites to explore, and a lively nightlife with a superb range of cinemas, clubs, restaurants, pubs and live entertainment. Outside the city boundaries, the immense areas of open countryside include the famous Sherwood Forest, an ancient landscape that today covers a third of the county and includes woods, heathland, farms and a rich mixture of wildlife.

Shopping
There is a good selection of local retailers close to Spinners Gate, including a busy shopping area based around Mansfield Road. The short trip into central Nottingham brings an enormous selection of specialist outlets and high-street names into reach, many of them located in covered malls like the Victoria Centre, where the 120 outlets include a major John Lewis store.

Transport
Spinners Gate is served by good local bus services, and the development is around three miles from the M1 motorway. Nottingham Station is part of the Intercity rail network, and East Midlands Airport is around half an hour's drive away.
