Our success is largely attributable to the dedication of our hard-working teams.  We regularly engage with employees to understand the motivation behind their commitment and to enhance our focus on training and development, equality and employee well being.  In 2013 we were awarded Investors in People Gold in recognition of our commitment to providing opportunities for personal growth through training, development and continuous improvement.

Every new employee receives a robust induction programme, covering a broad range of employee issues, and training appropriate to their role.  All site-based staff are required to have appropriate CSCS cards and those in higher risk roles undergo a health screening prior to working on site.

Annual performance development reviews provide an opportunity to identify and discuss training needs, career aspirations and personal objectives, which are selected to complement overarching business objectives.

A wide range of well being initiatives are available to employees in all locations.  These include an employee assistance programme, childcare vouchers, private healthcare, life cover and pensions.

As an equal opportunities employer, Miller Homes welcomes applications from all potential employees.

From an economic perspective, Miller Homes offers accessible routes into employment through its graduate scheme and apprenticeship opportunities.  All those directly employed by Miller Homes receive the Living Wage and weekly paid operatives are covered by the Working Rule Agreement.
