A vacancy has arisen for a full time Customer Service Co-ordinator, covering maternity leave, responsible to the Customer Services Supervisor, to work within the Homes North Area Customer Service team based in the Yorkshire regional office in Wakefield.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they a firm team player with, a keen work ethic, excellent communication skills, a desire to learn and succeed, and offering empathy and sympathy in equal measures when dealing with our customers whilst possessing an exemplary telephone manner.
The main responsibilities of this are as follows:
Call handling and customer contact throughout the initial two year defects liability period and beyond
Contractor liaison with regards to co-ordination of remedial works in occupied homes
Planning and prioritising remedial tasks for in house Customer Service Technicians
Create positive working relationships with colleagues paying specific attention to Sales and Production and more importantly the site teams, to enable smoother transition and completion of remedial tasks
Liaising with the Customer Service Administrator regarding key maintenance of the customer service database
Deal effectively and within charter timescales all incoming communications such as telephone calls, messages, emails and texts and record on the system in a timely manner
To act professionally, courteously and with dignity and control at all times with customers, internal colleagues, external colleagues and subcontractors alike to uphold the core values of the business, in a pressurised environment.
To ensure accurate and speedy data input into the customer service operating system
