Miller Homes’ online profiling system has beaten lastminute.com, British Gas and BBC and Virgin to win the “Best Use of Email” award from Revolution – a first for the British housebuilding industry.
Revolution, a magazine dedicated to online marketing, counts AOL’s vice president of interactive marketing, Google’s director of European Marketing programmes and CEO of Cheapflights Ltd among its 24 strong judging panel.
This panel found Miller Homes’ website results “impressive” mentioning response rates of up to 65% to viral marketing campaigns.
Marketing director, Philip Hogg, said “Both the award and our experiences to date show just how important the internet is to house hunters. Our website is now seen an essential support mechanism by customers.
