Over the past 75 years, Miller Homes has created over 100,000 houses for people to make into homes. We know that choosing a place to live is one of the biggest and most exciting decisions that most people ever make and we are immensely proud of our reputation for quality and care.

We operate through eight separate regional organisations, each responsive to local needs and each underpinned by the ethos and values of quality, sustainability and responsibility to our customers and to the wider community.

Like the company itself, the homes we build have a distinctive character that reflects their quality and enables them to fit sympathetically into their surroundings — around 70% of the homes we build are created specifically for local needs. We build over 80% of our developments on brown-field sites because we believe in revitalising inner city areas and promoting urban regeneration. We have also taken a pioneering approach to building long-term relationships with our customers. Since 1999, the number of customers who would recommend Miller Homes to their best friend has risen from 65% to 97% and we are the only UK housebuilder to publish our customer satisfaction results. 



We take our responsibility to future generations very seriously. We worked with a specialist environmental consultancy to help us develop our Corporate Responsibility Strategy and the result was a firm set of targets including the total elimination of construction waste going to landfill and a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. To ensure that our actions meet our aspirations, we have over 90 key performance indicators under constant review. We were proud to demonstrate our commitment to sustainability by being the first house builder to publish a Corporate Responsibility Strategy and becoming founder members of the Next Generation Housing Sustainability Club.
